The Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA is in Castellaneta Marina in Puglia, a sun-kissed Mediterranean territory known for its hospitality, natural beauty, history, art, and tradition. It is nestled into the lush Stornara Nature Reserve. The property is a part of the renovated Ethra Reserve complex which is surrounded by a lush pine forest that stretches right up to a long, fine-sand private beach.

*Guests can reserve tables, subject to availability, in the shaded outdoor area of the hotel’s main restaurant, and Suite guests can request an outdoor table for the duration of their stay. 

Kalidria offers two bars, one in the hotel and the other on the beach where in addition to drinks and cocktails offers a selection of snacks 

RELAX 

The hotel has both an outdoor and indoor seawater pool - Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA arrives at the sandy private beach via a centuries-old pine forest steeped in the aromas of juniper, myrtle, and rosemary. A shuttle service takes you to the private beach, where your beach umbrella, loungers, and soft beach towels await. All before a crystal-clear sea. The shallow water with a sandy seabed is perfect for children’s swimming.

Ethra Thalasso SPA , the exclusive 3,500-m2 Ethra Thalasso SPA is one of the most impressive thalassotherapy centres in Italy. It offers a wide range of thalassotherapy, beauty, massage, wellness, relaxation and fitness rehabilitation treatments, an outdoor seawater swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool with an Aquatonic Seawater route, a Thalasso Oasis with outdoor jacuzzis, Turkish bath, sauna, massaging water jets, solarium cabin, gym with Technogym equipment (services available at an extra charge).

The 110 Rooms, suites and Ecolodge, all surrounded by nature, are ready to welcome you with stylish spaces, exclusive services and an enchanting view of the pine forest. Room facilities include, air conditioning, TV with Sky, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-bar, capsule coffee machine, electric kettle with selection of teas and herbal teas.

Classic - spacious rooms, measuring 30 m2, are located on the second floor and enjoy two French beds or a double bed. The beautifully furnished private terrace overlooks the pine forest, for a feeling of complete serenity

Superior - The elegant Superior rooms offer 37 m2 of comfort. Located on the first floor, they have two French beds, with the option to add a cot or a single sofa bed. Breathe in the peace and quiet of the surrounding nature on your private furnished terrace. If you stay for more than three days, one access per person is included in our wonderful SPA, with sauna, Turkish bath and Aquatonic seawater route, for the ultimate wellness experience.

Ecolodge Suite - are 50-m2 independent lodges located 150 m from the hotel. They enjoy an outdoor patio furnished with table and chairs where you can enjoy the peace of the surrounding pine forest. A place to feel close to nature, You can choose between an open-plan studio apartment with living area, TV, double sofa bed and sleeping area with double bed; or a 2-room apartment comprising a bedroom with 2 French beds, room with living space with 2 single beds (dormeuse-style You can also enjoy the use of two adult-sized bicycles and, at the beach, Premium accommodation with a beach umbrella in the first row (not assigned) and two sun loungers. One access per person to our wonderful SPA, with sauna, Turkish bath and Aquatonic Seawater route is included in your stay, for a full wellness experience. 

Suite - With over 60 m2 of floor space, are located on the first floor and offer you the benefit of large separate rooms: a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, a living area with double sofa bed, and a generous bathroom. They all have a large furnished terrace overlooking the pine forest. The suite comes with Premium beach accommodation, with an umbrella in the first row (not assigned) and two sun loungers. Daily access to the SPA, with use of the sauna, Turkish bath and Aquatonic Seawater route. 

Albachiara Suite - A name that evokes one of the best-loved Italian songs of all time and represents our excellence in hospitality. 100 m2 of pure elegance, with a large lounge area, a bedroom with two French beds, a writing nook and a convenient walk-in wardrobe. The sophisticated bathroom is split into two areas; there is also a large furnished terrace with a view of the pine forest. Guests have 2 e-bikes at their disposal to explore the enchanting Ethra Reserve on their own. The Suite includes exclusive accommodation at Ethra Beach Club: a double Bali bed with soft mattresses. Daily access to the the SPA, with use of the sauna, Turkish bath and Aquatonic Seawater route. Suite Guests can enjoy a 30-minute body massage chosen from the extensive treatment menu. 

‘This is the perfect place to forget your troubles and relax. There is a shuttle every 30 minutes to take you to their private beach. The pool at the hotel is big with lots of room to lounge around it. Beautiful spa area. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and kept so clean by delightful maids. The food is good.
