Fonteverde Tuscan Resort & Spa is located in Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia Park, a vast oasis of undulating hills south of Siena.  This historical palace was built in the 17th century by the Medici family amid hot springs, the therapeutic properties of which had been known since ancient times. The resort offers 78 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites, with balconies overlooking the olive groves and vineyards.

La Corte restaurant - The La Corte restaurant, dedicated to breakfast and lunch, today has a new elegance. The large windows that open onto the terrace and the landscape illuminate the interiors.

Ferdinando I restaurant - It is a historic and unique environment inside the Renaissance portico. Today, it is completely renovated. The large windows overlooking the Val d'Orcia punctuate the spaces and open up to natural light or the enchantment of the night view.

Bar Il Falconiere is now completely renovated, with a style inspired by the colours and combinations of Tuscan architecture. The spaces are divided into lounges with windows overlooking the panoramic terrace.

Swimming Pools

A palace was born from a Renaissance portico, on a thermal spring, as a tribute to the regenerating power of thermal waters. The portico, commissioned by Grand Duke Ferdinando I de Medici, is located in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, among rolling hills, cypress forests, and small churches. The spectacular panoramic swimming pools, as well as those used for treatment and relaxation, are filled with the natural heat of the thermal springs.

Psychophysical well-being also comes from healthy sporting activity. In the Fonteverde Fitness Centre, free entry to the large movement area awaits you.

You can alternate training in the gym and the cardio fitness area with 50 minutes of scheduled fitness sessions with the assistance of a specialised personal trainer or attend fitness classes, lasting 25 minutes. Entrance to the gym and cardio fitness centre is free for hotel guests.

  Classic room - Completely renovated, the room has an elegant design in which light colours enhance the light and alternate with black and dove gray, as in the facades of Romanesque churches. 18 m²

  Superior - The Superior room has been completely renovated, taking inspiration from the Tuscan tradition. The ivory colour, warm and welcoming, contrasts with black or dove gray details. 25 m²

  Superior Balcony - The Superior Balcony room has been completely renovated. Everything, from the colours to the finishes, comes from the Tuscan tradition. The dominant shade is ivory, warm and bright, alternating with black or dove gray finishes. 25 m²

  Superior Valley View - Comfortable and bright, it welcomes its guests with new colours in light shades of cream and ivory contrasting with the black and dove gray details, such as the moulded headboard of the bed, which recalls ancient Tuscan palaces, or the floor in fine oak wood. 25 m²

  Superior Valley View Balcony - The Superior Valley View Balcony room is completely renovated. Antique prints and decorations inspired by nature inside, and a small terrace outside with a side view of the Val d'Orcia hills, Mount Amiata, and the swimming pools. 25 m²

  Deluxe Valley View - The Deluxe Valley View Room is completely renovated. The moulded headboard is characterised by a black or dove gray band alternating with light colours, as in the Tuscan palaces or in the churches of Florence and Siena. 25 m²

  Deluxe Valley View Balcony - The Deluxe room has just been renovated with great care. The motif of alternating light and dark colours that decorate the headboard is a polychrome reference to the churches of Florence and Siena. 25 m²

  Junior Suite Valley View - The Junior Suite Valley View is a large room, with a welcoming living area, now completely renovated. The moulded headboard is sometimes characterised by a black band and takes inspiration from the lines of Tuscan palaces and the two-tone bands of the churches of Florence and Siena. 35 m²

  Junior Suite Valley View Terrace - The Junior Suite Valley View Terrace is completely renovated. It offers loving spaces, comfort, and an elegant living area. One of the elements of his style is the moulded headboard, which takes inspiration from the alternating coloured bands of Tuscan churches. 35 m²

  One Bedroom Suite - Our One Bedroom Suites, all different in shape and layout of the spaces, are completely renovated, with a sober and elegant style. 42 m²

  Val d'Orcia Suite - Our Val d'Orcia Suite is completely renovated, with a sober and elegant style. The headboard, inspired by the tradition of Tuscan leather goods, is the protagonist of the environment. 50 m²

  Grand Suite - Our prestigious Grand Suite is completely renovated. It has an elegant and refined style, in which the light is enhanced by the light colours of the walls and furnishings and by the contrast with darker colours, as in the ancient Tuscan palaces and churches. 60-70 m²
