About the hotel
- SETTING & STYLE
Perched high above Taormina, the Grand Hotel Miramare enjoys one of the loveliest views in Sicily. From the terraces there are stunning views of the sea and Isolabella. A great favourite with travellers since the 1920s, this former private villa was extensively renovated in 2007, and now is a delightful combination of old world grandeur and 21st century comfort. The Interiors are light and sophisticated.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
The pretty gardens have an almost tropical feel with their citrus trees and exotic shrubs. A stepped pathway leads down through the gardens to the pool area, where the tennis court is also located. Here, the Grill Bar offers light meals and snacks in a relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel’s main restaurant will not be in use for 2018
RELAX
Taormina centre is just 400 metres away, with shops, cafes and restaurants; ideal for guests who enjoy strolling around town and soaking up the local atmosphere.
Guests can also take the cable car to Mazzaro Beach, and the hotel runs a shuttle service to the beach in summer.

'The Miramare is situated just a walk away from all the activities and is a peaceful haven to retreat to for an enjoyable, evening dinner in the restaurant.
