Carloforte is the only town on the island of San Pietro in the Sulcis archipelago, southern Sardinia.
Carloforte offers relaxation and miles of white sand beaches. Il Giunco beach is less than 3 km from the town, behind which are salt marshes. Punta Nera, is another beach with an interesting cave to visit, and Guidi, offers the most beautiful colours of the sea ranging from light green to turquoise.
North of the island there are two caves: Punta delle Oche and Nasca: accessible by sea with small boats. Both are ideal places for scuba diving and snorkelling.
