Calaserena Resort is located in Germeasnis, just 35km from Cagliari airport. It has a truly magical setting where elegance meets Sardinian tradition and tucked into a lush poplar, eucalyptus, and tamarisk forest. At Calaserena, the warm and genuine Sardinian hospitality, infused with local traditions, ensures a relaxing and memorable stay for the entire family.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Dining at Calaserena is varied and high quality. Chefs take you on a gastronomic journey through the flavours of the Sardinian tradition along wth culinary specialities from all over the world.

You can choose between the main restaurant, Il Gusto restaurant, Le Onde restaurant. La Brezza restaurant is a brand new and reserved for suite guests, with table service. Full Board and All Inclusive plans available.

For those who prefer al fresco dining, you can take a seat at one of the tables on the shaded Patio or dine under your beach umbrella thanks to our complimentary Sea Box. 

The resort offer two bars one of which is on the beach.

RELAX & ACTIVITIES

The resort offers 3 swimming pools includng one reserved for the miniclub. The private beach at Calaserena Resort is approximatley 450 meters from the resort and overlooksa crystal-clear sea, perfect  swimming. The larger umbrellas, with built-in safes, make up the first three rows, while standard umbrellas with two sun loungers complete the remaining ones. Changing rooms, showers, a refreshment bar, and an information desk are also available. Beach activities include: sailing and windsurfers, canoes, pedal boats, paddle surfing, beach tennis, and volleyball courts. 

For the more active guest and fitness enthusiasts, there a variety of different activities to choose from. You can schedule sessions with certified instructors in our modern fitness area, which features isotonic machines, dumbbells, spinning bikes, a balance board, a strength development rope, and group gymnastics.
You can also participate in stretch and tone, DJ Fitness, water aerobics, Nordic walking, yoga, Zumba, cross training, and jump fitness. There are concrete tennis court with night lighting, three multipurpose tennis/football courts with night lighting, beach volleyball and beach tennis courts, synthetic grass bocce courts with night lighting and a bocce kit, archery, a shooting range, padel and teqball courts, table tennis, mini-horseback riding, and the services of the diving centre and Bluserena SeaSport.

The wellness center allows guests to relax and umwind. It offers a curated selection of facial and body treatments, soothing massages, sports massages, holistic massages and customised wellness programmes.

CHILDREN

At Calaserena Resort, we dote on our younger guests, creating a world of games, spaces, and activities tailored to each age group, ensuring that your child enjoys a fun and creative holiday. Our dedicated entertainment staff oversee an exciting program of games, sports, and recreational activities according to age group, promising safe fun for the kids and peace of mind for the parents. For the little ones (3 to 10 years old), Bluserena offers children’s clubs that stay open through the evening, baby day care, lunch with the entertainers by reservation, a giant playground, the Acqua Park water park, and the children’s Mini Club on Serenella beach. There are plenty of sporty activities, such as the dance and rhythmic gymnastics school, football, swimming, mermaiding, and a mini-riding school. 

Children and teens aged 5 to 14 can also sign up for the Bluserena Football Academy, where they’ll learn the basics and tricks from our qualified instructors.

Teenagers, 11- to 14 -years-olds can enjoy their own space at the SerenUp Club, while the SerenHappy Club is designed for 14- to 17-year-olds. These clubs offer a range of activities, including archery combat, or bow and arrow challenges; the Lightsabre Academy with the legendary Star Wars lightsabres; exciting nights in tents and much more.. 

Calaserena Resort’s Baby Kitchen, open from 6:00 am to midnight, is a haven for parents of children 3 years old and under. Equipped with tables, chairs, and highchairs, the Baby Kitchen is stocked with essentials during main meals, providing you with the convenience to heat milk and baby food, sterilise objects, and blend and homogenise food.

Accommodation & Facilities:

Calaserena Resort has 317 rooms renovated in 2024 in two- or three-storey buildings, divided into Classic, Superior, Premium and brand-new Suites, all with Wi-Fi. Interconnecting rooms for guests with disabilities are available on request.

Classic - Rooms for 2 guests, with a renovated sleeping area in 2024; in some, a cot or a single sofa bed can be added. They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, and bathroom. Classic rooms on the ground floor without a garden, Classic Garden with a garden, Classic on the 1st floor without a balcony, and Classic Balcony on the 1st or 2nd floor with a balcony are available.

Superior - Rooms for 3 guests, with a renovated sleeping area in 2024, with a double bed and a single bed, located on the ground floor. They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, and bathroom. Superior Garden rooms are available.

Superior Quadruple - Rooms with up to 4 beds and a renovated sleeping area in 2024, located in the most central area of the resort, are on the ground floor. The 3rd and 4th beds are in a sofa bed. They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, and bathroom.

Premium Balcony - Rooms for 2 guests, with a renovated sleeping area in 2024, in the most central area of the resort, are located on the first or second floor with a balcony. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal teas, espresso machine, open mini bar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), and rental of one beach towel per person (from age 3) with daily change.

Premium Quadruple Garden - Rooms for 4 guests, with a renovated sleeping area in 2024, centrally located, all on the ground floor with a garden. The 3rd and 4th beds are in a pull-out sofa bed. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal teas, espresso machine, open minibar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), and rental of one beach towel per person (from age 3) with daily change.

Suites  -from 32 to 35 m2 for up to 4 guests, completely renovated in 2024. The suites have a double room with a sleeping area and a double bed, and a living area with a double sofa bed or double chaise-longue. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal teas, espresso machine, open minibar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), TV with Sky, and rental of one beach towel per person (from age 3) with daily change. ‘La Brezza’ restaurant is reserved for suite guests. A Garden Suite and the Balcony Suite on the first floor with a terrace are available.
