Tucked away in a wood of wild olive trees and junipers, Hotel Capo D’Orso Thalasso and Spa offers a setting  that is both romantic and intimate.  The hotel overlooks the bay of Cala Capra, 4km from the port town of Palau.  Here, the coastline is secluded: dotted with small, hidden sandy coves, making the hotel the perfect choice for couples looking for a romantic escape. Complete with its own little harbour, the Capo D’Orso has its own particular charm and attraction.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

A buffet style breakfast, accompanied by gentle harp music, is served on the terrace, or with room service (at local supplement).  The hotel hosts two excellent restaurants, with fine table service or buffet, based on typical Sardinian produce. 
- Restaurant Il Paguro is a refined sea facing restaurant, specialising in fresh shellfish. 
- Gli Olivastri is a charming and romantic buffet restaurant, set on a terrace underneath the ancient olive trees.
- Ile Flottante is set in an exciting location on a floating deck,  to enjoy the chef's exclusive creations of that day (on reservation and with supplement).
Guests may also choose alternative dining at ‘Pizzeria L’Approdo’, where tasty wood-fired pizzas are the speciality. 
A terrace with Piano Bar a few metres from the beach, completes this romantic setting.
For lunch, guests can dine at Il Paguro with many specialities of fresh fish, l'Ile Flottante in which to enjoy the Chefs proposals over the water or l'Approdo, where Mediterranean dishes, salads and sandwiches are served.
Room service available (at local supplement) and gluten free meals available if requested at the time of booking.

For those in need of a little pampering, Thalasso & Spa ‘L’Incantu offers a variety of Thalasso & Wellness treatments* (all at local cost) including:
• 2 multi function seawater Thalasso pools, heated at different temperatures
• Jacuzzi
• 10 modern cabins for Thalasso treatments
• Various beauty and massage treatments
• Turkish bath
• Relax area
• Sundeck with wooden sun-beds. 

A fitness centre is at guests’ disposal with cardio fitness machines, located by the rocks (free of charge).

Children are not allowed. From the age of 14 years is permitted only if accompanied by an adult, or are in possession of written parental authorisation.

The centre is open 6 days a week.

* A medical certificate is required, providing evidence of fitness for treatments and the use of equipment.  Alternatively, an appointment can be arranged for a medical professional to visit whilst in resort (at local cost).  

Beach & Swimming Pool: Four wooden sunbathing terraces are set directly on the seashore.  There are two beaches, one providing complimentary sun-beds, although nature lovers and walkers will undoubtedly enjoy exploring the hidden bays and discovering little beaches of their own. A seawater swimming pool with sun-beds is located just a few metres from the sea.

Golf: The hotel offers a practice pitch & putt 9-hole golf course: ideal for beginners or for skilled players wishing to improve their short game on the PAR 3.  There is the possibility of taking classes and golf iron (pitch) rental is available (at local cost). Classes are free for young people up to 13 years old.

Deluxe: Double bedded room, with open-plan lounge area and a sofa bed. 

Deluxe Cardinalino Sea View: Double bedded room with shower room and close to the Thalasso & Spa Centre.

Junior Suite: Double bedded room (twin beds on request), with open-plan lounge area includes sofa bed, capable of accommodating a child up to 13 years. Cot also possible.

Suite Family: Double bedded room with open-plan lounge area with sofa bed or single sofa bed, plus a second, small twin bedroom.  Capable of accommodating four adults & one child up to 13 years or infant cot. 

Junior Suite Executive Sea View: Fully renovated in contemporary and elegent Sardinian style. Double bedded room (twin beds on request) with select furnishings and open-plan lounge area with single sofa bed for one person. Bathroom with shower room. Close to the Thalasso & Spa Centre. Max occupancy 2 adults + 1 child 6-12 years + 1 infant 0-1 year in cot

Suite Caprera Open Space Sea View: Fully renovated as per the Executive. Double bedded room with bathroom with shower room Direct access to the park just a few metres from the wooden jetties on the seashore and from the Thalasso & Spa Centre. Pull out sofa bed for additional two people .

President Sea View: Prestigious double bedded room with walk-in wardrobe, separate lounge with a table and with two single sofa beds, capable of accommodating two children up to 13 years.  Cot also possible.  Large verandah with sea view.  Full bathroom including hydro-massage bath and spacious chromotherapy shower.  Additional cloakroom with WC and washbasin. 
Complimentary entrance to the Wellness Centre, with free use of multifunction Thalasso pools with hydro-massage jets, Turkish bath and relax area by the sea (on reservation).
