SETTING & STYLE

Hotel Abi d’Oru occupies a privilege position in the heart of Golfo di Marinella, only a few steps away from one of the longest stretches of fine white sand in Northern Sardinia.
The lively town of Porto Rotondo and its sought-after marina are just 4 km away whilst the ostentation and jet-set display of Porto Cervo is only a 30 minute taxi ride away.

A leisurely stroll along the beach directly out of the hotel leads to the port of Marana around which shops and restaurants can be found. The hotel also operates a daily shuttle service to Porto Rotondo.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

In all four restaurants, local tradition and international cuisine coexist, blending the goodness and wealth of raw products grown from the rich Sardinian land.

The "Main Restaurant" at the hotel opens early in the morning.The buffet for breakfast offers a good selection of continental choices and in the evening it offers a varied buffet for dinner. The restaurant also benefits from an outdoor area, pleasantly facing the sea and the Golfo di Marinella.

Marinella Restaurant: privilege position right on the beach, offers lunch buffet and grilled specialities, prepared on the spot. The restaurant is so close to the sea, it almost feel like dining with your feet in the water.

Il Marinaio Snack bar: also on the beach, serving pizzas and light lunches so as to spend as little time as possible away from that glorious beach. 

Hotel Abi d’Oru also features three bars for tasty snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

RELAX

The fine white sand and emerald waters of Marinella Bay are effortlessly reached via a footpath amongst lush Mediterranean vegetation. The hotel has its own reserved area on the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests only.

The hotel’s swimming pool is perfectly adapted for the pleasure of adults and children alike, with a shallow end, a solarium and even a Jacuzzi.  In high season, Aquagym lessons are organised free of charge.

Outdoor massages and beauty treatments can be enjoyed under a gazebo by the pool, so as to never miss the great views surrounding Hotel Abi d’Oru.

Hotel Abi d’Oru is also a great spot for more active guests with its synthetic floodlit tennis court (rackets and balls provided by the hotel) offering lessons on request (payable locally), pilates classes, five-a-side football pitch, water sports or even the Pevero Golf Club

Guest will also have access to a gymnasium and a new wellness area

Abi d’Oru is offering its guests a brandnew wellness area, along with a Private Spa Suite available as an exclusive service.

The new hotel SPA features a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, two chromotherapy showers, an ice fountain and a relax area with a salt wall. Three cabins, named after Sardinian essences (myrtle, helichrysum and mastic), offer pampering beauty treatments. One cabin is equipped with twin beds for couple massages, with two therapists working in perfect harmony to provide an unforgettable sensory journey.  Among the most popular treatments the Remedy Ritual, a unique treatment with slow and deep manipulations  to relieve tensions and relax muscles,  and the Himalayan Salt Massage, with its soothing and  purifying properties. Herbal tea and infusions are served in the indoor relax area, while the outdoor solarium, facing the swimming pool,  is the place to enjoy the gentle Sardinian sunshine in perfect relaxation.

Private SPA Suite
The Private SPA Suite is a premium service space featuring a private sauna and steam bath, beauty beds and relax loungers. In the private garden, a Jacuzzi with a romantic pavillon.

This premium service is an exclusive experience for couples, a small group of friends or family, where they can enjoy the benefits of SPA treatments in a cozy setting,  tasting champagne and caviar.

The hotel’s convenient location allows boat tours along the coast, from Marinella to Santa Teresa, via Maddalena and Caprera, or with different itineraries and programmed excursions.  Archaeological tours are available to some of the most important sites of Northern Sardinia like the nuragic village of ‘Prisgiona’ or the Coddu Ecchju area, near Arzachena, hosting “giant tombs”. Not far away, the ancient olive trees of Luras, the ethnographic museum of Aggius -one of the most important of Sardinia- and various enogastronomic itineraries in Gallura to taste wines and cheeses produced on site.

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

A free Mini-Club is open from mid-June to mid-September, six days a week, for children from four to ten years old (also English and German speaking). Activities are carried out in a dedicated play area, both indoors and outdoors. 

Babysitting service is available for a fee (to be paid locally). 

Accommodation & Facilities:

The 170 guest-rooms and suites are bright and decorated with light blue furnishing. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, hairdryer and beach towels.

Standard Hill room: 18 to 25sqm rooms with double or twin beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and balcony or patio overlooking the garden and partial sea view. Can accommodate a third bed or a cot on request.

Superior Sea view room: 18 to 25sqm rooms with double or twin beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and balcony or patio with frontal view over the gulf of Marinella. Can accommodate a third bed or a cot on request.

Junior suite: 30 to 40 sqm rooms with double or twin beds, open plan lounge area with sofa, ensuite bathroom with shower and balcony with table and chairs. Most Junior Suites are on the upper floors, only one has direct access to the garden via a private patio (on request only). Can accommodate a third bed or a cot on request.

Suite: 40 to 50 sqm, bedroom with double or twin beds, separate lounge area with sofa, ensuite bathroom with shower and either furnished balcony or patio. Can accommodate up to 4 people. Cot available on request.
