About the hotel
SETTING & STYLE
Le Sirenuse sits on a hillside overlooking the beach at Positano. Formerly the summer residence of the Marchesi Sersale, the building was transformed into an eight room hotel in 1951. Today the hotel, is still managed by the Sersale family, and now has a total of 62 rooms and suites, but still retains the ambience of a private home. Public areas are decorated with period furniture, paintings, vines and flowers. The sunny terraces afford breathtaking views over the Amalfi coastline.
The guestrooms are light and airy; decorated in a combination of contemporary and antique furniture, with floors laid out with colourful hand painted Vietri tiles. The suites are situated in the original part of the villa, dating back to the 18th century, with vaulted ceilings, antique furniture, and a number of original paintings and watercolours.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
Restaurant "La Sponda" offers the very best of local and Italian cuisine, served on the panoramic restaurant terraces or beneath the magnificent vaulted ceiling of the elegant dining room. The stylish ‘Champagne Bar’ is a romantic location to savour a variety of Mediterranean appetisers and to sip a glass of Champagne. Light snacks are also available at the Swimming Pool Café.
