About the hotel

SETTING & STYLE

The Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal is located less than a minute’s walk from Piazza San Marco and is in a perfect spot overlooking the Grand Canal. Guests may use a private water taxi to arrive at the hotel and those who have arrived from the airport on the vaporetto (water bus) are only a footstep away. The building dates back to the 16th century, and now, completely refurbished, the hotel is an eclectic mix of modern and old, with a classy yet contemporary ambiance.

The Hotel has 100 well appointed twin or double bedded rooms, with an additional 34 rooms in the hotel’s annexe, Palazzo Selvadego.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

The intimate dining room ‘ Restaurant Grand Canal’ offers guests the perfect setting to enjoy the culinary delights offered by its chefs, with the emphasis on fresh, local produce.
