SETTING & STYLE

Constance Prince Maurice enjoys an idyllic location on the north-east coast of Mauritius. It is 15 minutes from the airport by helicopter and 35 km from the capital Port Louis. Set on 60 hectares of private land, it is completely unspoilt, sheltered from the prevailing winds and ensuring maximum privacy for its guests. Its tropical gardens consist of rare and luxuriant vegetation and the calm turquoise lagoon blends perfectly with the fresh green hinterland and the secluded beaches of brilliant white sand. A natural fish reserve situated in the western part of the hotel adds to the uniqueness and natural beauty of the location.

RESTAURANT & BARS

The resort offers 3 restaurants and 4 bars .Treat your palate to a true culinary invasion whether you choose À la carte or buffet at any of the restaurants.

L’Archipel restaurant is located in the main building, overlooking the pool and the beach and partly open-air. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers à la carte menus with light Mauritian-influenced gourmet food and themed buffet dinners.

Le Barachois is a unique floating seafood restaurant comprising of five decks, located amongst the natural fish reserve, which is reached via a wooden pathway, overlooks the lagoon with an unspoiled view of a mountain range – the sunset is breathtaking. The restaurant is open for dinner only.

Asian Restaurant is situated in the Laguna bar area, this restaurant offers for lunch and dinner a selection of sushi, sashimi, maki, dim-sum as well as other Asian specialities.

The Laguna Bar (opening hours: 0900 – 0000 hrs) Situated in the main building, the bar overlooks the pool and the beach and has two sundecks. The bar serves perfectly mixed cocktails and has live entertainment every night (piano, sitar, concert flute, jazz). Laguna Bar proposes as well a Juice Bar by the pool open from 0900 to 1700 hrs

The Lotus Lounge Bar (opening hours: 1830 – 2330 hrs) The trendy Lounge Bar is located in the main building, adjacent to L´Archipel restaurant. Ideal for an aperitif before dinner and after dinner drinks in an elegant and intimate atmosphere.

Barachois – floating bar (opening hours 1800 to 2300 hrs) An incredible spot with a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere where one can enjoy an aperitif before dinner while listening to relaxing music and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.

Wine Cellar - A new wine cellar adjoining the Archipel restaurant with an area of 175m² dedicated to exclusive wines with a capacity of 25,000 bottles from around the world. The cellar includes a dedicated area for wine tasting (table for a maximum of 10 persons) 

RELAX

Guests have access to two swimming pools, one of which is a beach front infinty pool and 2km of private beach. All perfect to spend quality time with friends or family. The elegant U Spa by Constance at Prince Maurice is set in a tranquil corner of the gardens and centred around a stone courtyard with a calming heated pool. Relax, rejuvenate, detox, rehydrate or simply enjoy – the choice is yours. The highly skilled team is at your disposal to help you decide which treatments are best suited to your needs. For the fitness lover, there is also state of the art gym, with Life Fitness Cardio, TechnoGym and Queenax equipment.

CHILDREN & ACTIVITIES

Young guests can make new friends from around the world at the Constance Kids' Club which welcomes guests between the ages of 4 and 11. There are plenty of facilities and activities to keep them occupied throughout the day. There is a children’s swimming pool and plenty of outdoor space to play games in. An imagination space for the younger 4-6 year old guests, which may include playhouses, kitchenettes, tool workshops and even some 4-wheel transportation rides

For the active, why not take advantage of two floodlit tennis courts (synthetic floor, rackets for rent, balls payable), Bicycles, Hobie Cats, Waterskiing, Laser boats, Pedalos, Windsurfing, Kayaks, French Bowling, Table tennis (Kids Club).  Golf enthusiasts can play free of charge at Constance Belle Mare Plage’s “Legend” and “Links” golf courses, located approximately 5 minutes drive from Constance Prince Maurice, free shuttle service to and from the hotel is provided between 07h00 to 19h00.

• Accommodation & Facilities:

  Junior Suites - In buildings with thatched roofs of a maximum of 8 suites. There are 51 suites on the ground and first floor (with sea view or overlooking the tropical garden and 8 of these suites have direct access to the beach). They comprise of one bedroom with a sitting area Interconnecting Junior suites are available.

  Family Suites  - In buildings with thatched roofs, the new Family suites comprise of one main en-suite bedroom, a sitting area and a children’s room with bunk beds and a bathroom. These suites are either on the ground floor or first floor with sea view or overlooking the tropical garden.

  Villas - Individual villas with thatched roofs. Nine villas offer direct beach access and a heated private pool. 3 villas (without private pool) are on stilts overlooking the natural fish reserve. In addition to the standard facilities the suites comprise of a bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub, separate living room with dining/seating area, guest shower/WC.

  Princely Villa - Located directly on the beach in a secluded part of the hotel grounds that offer utmost privacy, the Princely Villa also benefits from three individual terraces each facing a different part of the ocean and the lagoon. Comprising of 2 Junior suites and 1 Villa with a patio. Similarly equipped as Junior and Villas. In addition kitchenette for service staff, terraces with dining/seating area and 2 heated private pools.
