Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is located in East Algarve, approximately 40 minutes transfer to Faro Airport.

RESTAURANTS & BARS
Monte Rei is renowned to offer fine dining experiences by carefully choosing the best ingredients to produce the highest quality dishes by the passionate and committed team.
Vistas is Monte Rei’s first Michelin Star restaurant led by dedicated Chef Rui Silvestre offering sophisticated gourmet experiences in a unique and elegant dining room with beautiful views of the Resort’s fairways. The menu offers seasonal Mediterranean and international dishes using the freshest local ingredients.
The Grill offers a relaxed and informal dining experience in its covered terrace. Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks the restaurants menu features tapas, meat and fish specialities, pasta dishes and delicious gourmet sandwiches. 
Veranda is located right by the poolside where guests can enjoy a relaxed meal throughout the day. A variety of themed evening culinary events and barbeques are also hosted.
The Academy Café is tucked away between the first and tenth tees and it’s the prefect place to enjoy a mid-morning coffee or iced-cold drink with a snack in it’s shaded terrace.

RELAX
Swimming pools: The Veranda outdoor heated pool is a large communal pool surrounded by comfortable wooden loungers and parasol. Pool towels are provided to all guests.The children’s pool is a heated outdoor pool with a maximum depth of 0.2 metres.

Health & Spa: The Monte Rei Golf & Country Club features a sauna, steam room and a treatment room offering aromatherapy facials, body massages, Indian head massage and beauty treatments.

Beach: The closest beach to the resort is Monte Rota, located just 10 minutes drive away from the resort it’s a long gold sanded beach. The resort offers a free shuttle service during July and August.

Fitness: A fitness centre with cardio machine and free weights is available free of charge for all guests.

Tennis: Two hard tennis court are available within the Monte Rei Golf & Country Club. Pre-booking is required and equipment can be hired at an extra charge payable locally.

Golf/Golf Academy: The golf offering at Monte Rei is unrivaled in the region. The breathtaking Jack Nicklaus Signature course together with highest levels of service make for an experience like no other.

Jack Nicklaus is arguably the finest player ever to pick up a golf club. After retiring from the professional game in 2005 with 73 PGA wins (including 18 majors) under his belt, the Golden Bear became synonymous with the design and development of top-flight courses across the globe. A legend of the game, Golf Inc. voted Nicklaus the Most Powerful Person in Golf for four straight years between 2004 and 2007.

His Signature course at Monte Rei Golf and Country Club is regularly ranked as the best and most exclusive course in Portugal, the home of European golf, and has been challenging players of all abilities and handicaps from across the world since 2007.

Kid’s Villa is located close to the children’s swimming pool and offers families a playroom with a variety of indoor and outdoor games and toys as well as internet stations and play stations.

  Linked Villas: 1, 2 & 3 bedroom residences are located few steps away from the Veranda to enjoy the communal swimming pool, health club, spa facilities and restaurant.
