The AMARA is located close to the famous royal ancient kingdom of Amathus and 8km to the town centre. The hotel’s interiors were inspired by Cyprus’ intricate heritage,with cultural influences and architectural details expressive of the island’s Mediterranean landscape. Nerea - Dedicated fish and seafood restaurant located beachside offering a rich selection of fish and seafood, all carefully selected and prepared using the freshest local ingredients. Open for dinner. Closed on Wednesdays
The Dining Room - International and Cypriot cuisine using the freshest of seasonal ingredients  to create openhearted food. Order a traditional meze, sip on a glass of local Maratheftiko or Xynisteri wine.

The Lobby Bar - Serving freshly brewed coffee, baked cakes, danish pastries and light homemade snacks.
Main Bar - Nestled adjacent to the  speciality Italian restaurant, Ristorante Locatelli, is the hotels’ main bar, which is ideally suited to pre- or post-dinner cocktails, or to special occasions requiring a relaxing space and graceful decor.
Pool Bar - Located poolside, there is a menu of delectable dishes, cooling beverages, cocktails and homemade ice cream
Rooftop Bar - Contemporary and chic, this bar is the height of exclusivity. At dusk, it is the ideal place to unwind, watch the sunset colours, with cocktails and tapas, whilst enjoying relaxing lounge music.
Whiskey Bar - Part of the Matsuhisa Restaurant, offers pre and post dinner cocktails and a private function room ideal for private dining, business dinners, either indoor or outdoor.

RELAX

There are four pools (including children's pool) the main infinty pool offers stunning sea views. A further salt water pool reserved for adults only can be found within the gardens. Children have use of their own pool located close to the infinity edge swimming pool, behind the pool bar. Lastly, the indoor pool, where  the temperature is always perfect and inviting. Their sandy beach is a few steps away and equipped with sun beds and parasols

For those seeking to rejuvenate their mind, body and soul, the AMARA Spa has been conceived as a holistic haven, through which guests have access to a variety of Cosmedix and  Organicy treatments, performed by experienced professionals. The gym is located in the Wellness Centre using the latest Technogym equipment.Classes for Pilates, Spinning, HIIT, Kettle Bell classes, Yoga, Swimming and much more also available.

CHILDREN 

Whilst parents and guardians are relaxing by the poolside or in the Spa, younger guests are invited to partake in the unbridled entertainment opportunities offered in the supervised Kid’s Club. 

Carefully crafted for children aged 4 to 12, the  Kids Club is spearheaded by professional staff members, who deliver a host of program activities and fun adventures that have been designed to excite and challenge children of all ages and with varying interests, examples of which include face painting, arts and crafts, dancing, cinema and more. The Kids Club is a complimentary service to all guests of the AMARA, and does not require pre-booking. It is open 7 days a week from 10:00hrs – 13:00hrs and 14:00hrs – 19:00hrs.

The Creche, for Infants aged 4-36 months provides a specially designed room equipped with the appropriate toys and cots for the little ones to play and rest when they want to. This service has two sessions daily, morning or afternoon, is chargeable and requires prebooking.

The colour scheme has touches of powder blue, green, and off-white for serenity.
