This tour takes you through the heart of Tuscany, combining culture, history, stunning landscapes, and seaside charm. Itinerary:

 

Day 1-3:

• 3 nights stay in Florence
• Guided walking tour of Florence: Explore the historical city centre, including iconic sites like the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery.
• Visit the Accademia Gallery: Admire Michelangelo’s famous David statue and other Renaissance masterpieces at this world-renowned museum.
• Evening stroll along the Arno River: Walk across the Ponte Vecchio and enjoy the stunning views of the Arno River and Florence’s beautiful bridges as the sun sets.

 

Day 4-9:

• 6 nights stay in Gaiole in Chianti
• Relaxing days in the countryside: Spend some time at your Tuscan retreat, strolling through the vineyard, visiting local villages, and enjoying traditional Tuscan meals with locally sourced ingredients.
• Truffle hunting experience: Head out into the hills for a truffle hunting experience, where a local guide and trained dogs will help you uncover prized truffles. Afterward, enjoy a truffle-based lunch, including pasta and other delicacies.
• Day trip to San Gimignano & Siena: Discover the medieval town of San Gimignano, known for its towers and UNESCO-listed historic centre. Heads up to the stunning city of Siena to enjoy the vibrant local life.
• Cooking class in the countryside: Take a Tuscan cooking class focusing on regional specialties like Cinghiale (wild boar) and ribollita (a traditional Tuscan soup), followed by a relaxed dinner in a farmhouse setting.

Day 10-12:

• 3 nights stay in Viareggio

• Day trip to Pisa: Take a short trip to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa and the surrounding Piazza dei Miracoli.
• Explore the art deco promenade: Stroll along Viareggio’s “Lungomare”, lined with Art Deco buildings, cafes, and boutiques. Stop for a gelato and enjoy the last day of your Tuscan trip.
