It was the first Phoenician city in Sardinia and soon became one the most important commercial crosswords and port, thanks to its strategic position, in the isthmus of Capo Pula. It was conquered by the Romans in 238 BC and flourished in the following two centuries. The beautiful remains can be seen at the archaeological park of Pula, where Forte Village is situated, and findings can be admired at Patroni Museum.
