Sardatur Holidays & Forte Village Special Event in London

Sardatur Holidays in co-operation with Forte Village Resort- Sardinia, celebrated 30 years of partnership with an event at the Luxurious Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge- London.

Two separate events were held, on the 14th March for our specially selected clients and on the 27th March for our most loyal travel agents. Approximately 50 guests attended each event.

Guests were also treated to a raffle where they could win a free return ticket to Sardinia on Sardatur special flights, operated by British Airways or a free accommodation at the Forte Village Resort.

Guests experienced the charm and natural wonders of Sardinia through short films in the luxurious Richard Attenborough theatre. The first film specially made for Sardatur depicts the beauty of Sardinia and Forte Village Resort: the fauna, the flora, the cuisine and culture. An exciting journey which invites you to discover the beauties of this island for those who have not yet visited it.

For both events guests were served traditional Sardinian dishes and delicacies typical of the region. Before the viewing guests enjoyed canapes which consisted of Sardinian Olives, Sardinian sausage and Pecorino (Sardinian Goat Cheese), all accompanied by Franciacorta Prosecco.

For the entree guests were served Insalata di Polpo (Octopus Salad), followed by two tasting dishes: Fregola con arselle a battarga (Pasta with clams and cured roe) and Malloreddus alla campidanese ( Gnocchi with sausage meat).

The main course was Agnello arrosto con patate (Roast lamb with potatoes) and for dessert there was Dolcetti Sardi (a selection of traditional Sardinian sweets with candied fruits) and Seadas (Sardinian honey and ricotta cheese pastry).
