Located in the centre of Cannigione, Hotel Baja is the ideal spot from which to enjoy the local restaurants and cafes and to soak up the atmosphere of this relaxed little town.  Cannigione is situated in one of the numerous inlets, which make up the Gulf of Arzachena and is a good base from which to explore this lovely area of Sardinia. Originally a fishing village, Cannigione has grown into a popular holiday town, busy in July & August, which offers a good range of facilities.  There is a port and marina from where boat trips leave to explore the numerous beaches and the islands of the La Maddalena group.

This modern and comfortable hotel is just 200 metres from the public beach at Cannigione.  From June until September, a shuttle service operates to the nearby public beaches of Barca Bruciata and Tancamanna (at set times & local cost) where sun-beds & parasols are available direct from the beach organisers at local cost and on a first come first served basis.  There is a freshwater swimming pool with complimentary sun-beds and parasols and a pool bar serving lunchtime snacks.

The attractive breakfast room has a large external portico, offering guests the choice of enjoying breakfast al fresco  Lunchtime snacks are available at the American Bar or pool bar at local cost.  The hotel offers a beauty and fitness centre with sauna, Turkish bath and hammam (all at local cost).

Hotel Baja guests can enjoy complimentary use of the piano bar and entertainment (operates 18May to 14Sep)  at the Blu Hotel Morisco, next door.  In addition, the Morisco’s Mini-Club (operates 18May to 14Sep - limited days of operation) is also at the disposal of Hotel Baja guests (complimentary and no pre-booking required, but subject to availability).
