Sitting in the old town of Taormina, the Villa Diodoro is an elegant hotel, which exudes warm Sicilian hospitality and charm. Surrounded by its own private gardens, the best view of Mount Etna can be seen by the large swimming pool, which is reached via a series of paths, meandering through the pretty landscaped gardens.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
There is a pool bar, which serves lunchtime snacks, and during the summer months, cocktail parties and gala dinners are sometimes held. The restaurant offers traditional Italian and Sicilian cuisine, in an elegant setting overlooking the gardens. After dinner guests can relax with a drink on the terrace and enjoy the music from the Piano Bar.
RELAX
From June until September, there is a shuttle to Lido Caparena, where the hotel has its own private section of beach. Here sun-beds and parasols are provided, and various water-sports are available. There is also a bar, tennis court and a wellness centre.
The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the main street, Corso Umberto with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
