There are special journeys which stay with you forever, creating cherished memories. They take you to the most wonderful places, immersing you in landscape, history and artistic treasures. Our Tuscany Tours is a lifetime experience: a ten-day tour of Tuscany at the wheel of a stunning vintage car. There are three destinations along the way: Fonteverde, Grotta Giusti and Bagni di Pisa. You’ll stay at historic hotels oozing charm and tradition: from a Reinassance abode to a 19th-century villa set in an enchanted garden, and the residence and thermal spa built for Grand Duke Francis of Lorraine. Road after road, wonder after wonder, you’ll become steeped in the great beauty of Tuscany.
We have designed the Tuscany Tours Experience just for you, so pack your bags and be ready for an unforgettable journey.

Plunge into the Reinassance in Val D’Orcia

Fonteverde is a balcony overlooking the Tuscan hills, in a landscape which looks just like a painting. Our spacious, welcoming Deluxe rooms are ready to receive you. Or why not choose one of our Junior Suites, all of them generously-sized and luxurious with a large living area. Fonteverde Thermal Spa is a glorious setting to experience a whole range of revitalising remedies: relaxing massages, detoxing thermal mud applications and the cool freshness of our anti-ageing treatment.

The second stage of your dream Tuscany Tours is Grotta Giusti, now completely renovated. This stylish, secluded 19th-century villa is surrounded by stunning gardens. Here lies a hidden treasure: the spa and springs are set in Europe’s largest natural thermal grotto with its own underground thermal lake. At Grotta Giusti guests stay in our brand new deluxe bedrooms or Junior Suites. Thermal pools and thermal grotto await you at our spa, so you can round off a day’s exploring with some time to relax.

The Grand Duke’s Thermal Spa, favoured by Kings

Bagni di Pisa is a historic residence built in the 18th century to enable Francis of Lorraine, Grand Duke of Tuscany, to enjoy the thermal springs here. It later became a magnificent spa hotel and has played host to kings, queens and great artists over the centuries. We have set aside our Deluxe rooms and Junior Suites just for you. At our Spa, located on the site of the Grand Duke’s thermal springs, you can indulge in a special collection of unique treatments.

We have put together a fleet of marvellous vintage cars to make your Tuscany Tours truly unique. For ten whole days you will enjoy driving the Alfa Romeo Duetto, or a Triumph Spitfire, MG Roadster or even a Morgan 4/4 plus. And for vintage chic with a laidback vibe, how about a convertible VW Beetle or a delightful Peugeot 304 cabriolet?

The Tuscany Tours include some really gorgeous experiences and activities, some are better known, others are unusual and unexpected. Some are for history lovers, like the visit to a breath-taking find from the age of the Etruscans: the Tomb of the Infernal Quadriga. Or like the official guided tour of Siena and the surrounding area, admiring the world-famous historic town of Montepulciano. Some, instead, are for wine lovers, like the wine tasting at the Avignonesi Winery, a 19th-century villa, with its chapel and historic cellars. Or another great wine tasting at the Leonardo Da Vinci winery, maybe after a visit to his birthplace and his museum. For chocolate lovers, an exquisite visit to artisan chocolate-makers is waiting for you. Don’t forget the visit to a famous artisan shoe worshop. And only for the brave: your hot air balloon flight, an unforgettable experience to admire the landscape around Lucca, in the oldest and most evocative of all flying machine.
