The white sandy beach of Putzu Idu and other unspoilt beaches are just a few minutes drive by car.  A variety of waters-ports including windsurfing, catamaran, sailing, pedalo and snorkelling are available within the local vicinity.  Keen golfers will especially appreciate the delights of the nearby 18-hole, Is Arenas Golf Club, named by golf magazines as one of the 20 best new golf courses in Europe.  This pristine, private and secluded golf course will inspire you with its relaxed, unwinding environment; perfect for a unique golfing experience.  Organised walks into the surrounding countryside can also be arranged in conjunction with the local tourist association, and include bird watching and trekking.  Horse riding is available nearby.

The Roman remains at Tharros and the spa town of Fordongianus are within an easy drive and make for a fascinating day trip. The Lodge is located just 20 minutes drive from the town of Oristano and some 75 minutes from Cagliari or two hours from Olbia airport.
