'There was nothing we could fault with our experience of Hotel La Rocca. From the moment we were first greeted at reception at our check-in until our last moment when, with our driver waiting to spirit us away to the airport and the journey home, we were still being invited to taste some tiny cakes and have a coffee. The setting itself is beautiful - the hotel is designed to look like a small Sardinian village and there are clever views of gardens or hills or the (somewhat distant) Golfo di Azarchena around every corner. The housekeeping staff are cheerful and quiet in their work, always busy but always with time to greet guests with a cheery "Buongiorno" or "Buonasera". Beds are comfortable and our very nicely-furnished suite had two balconies and was cool and airy. The gardens are full of old olive trees and flowers, including those around the hotel's own (quite luxurious and very private) spa which has its own indoor pool, sauna, steam rooms, and so on. We will certainly return to Sardinia. It is difficult to imagine that we could possibly find a lovelier hotel or a friendlier staff than we found here, at Hotel La Rocca. Highly recommended (but don't tell too many people!)' C. - August 2015
'One of the most beautiful resorts we've ever visited anywhere. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully landscaped gardens. Flowers everywhere. The best swimming pool we've ever seen anywhere! The huge rocks and waterfall feature is so peaceful. The atmosphere always serene and intimate. Was never crowded and we had the pool to ourselves despite the hotel being full (I guess there's a lot to do in Sardinia and people are always out and about)Sardinia is a beautiful Island with so many beautiful little towns, villages, restaurants, activities, that it would be a shame to stay stuck in one place no matter where you are staying. So rent a car upon your arrival from the airport and keep it until the end. La Rocca is perfectly located to explore the beautiful Costa Smeralda.' H. - July 2015
'The food was extraordinary, and I know my food - dinner consists of 4 courses and it is a challenge to leave anything out! The antipasti each night allowed the chef to exhibit his undoubted skills, and Imad and the team made the eating experience very enjoyable. Imad has a great sense of humour and develops a great rapport with the guests. Breakfast was a varied buffet of hot and cold foods, sweet cakes, wide range of fruit and if you want an omelette from the kitchen just ask!' Annie - July 2015
'I stayed for a week and since the very first day I felt at home...actually I felt at my ideal holiday home. Imad, the Maitre d' is a perfect host, he and his brigade run the service smoothly and attentive. The food is fresh and good with a wide selection of the local bests. Valentina, Ernestina and Amarilli grace your days with their lovely smiles and attentive customer care.
The private beach is a slice of Paradise. The food at the beach restaurant is just sublime, the bottarga spaghetti are strongly recommended. Cannot wait to go back!' Raffaella - June 2015
