"The Timi Ama hotel was first class and I can't speak highly enough of the staff who could not have been more helpful. The room you secured for us was very comfortable with a delightful view over the garden and out to sea. The swimming pool was magnificent and it was a joy to exploit the extensive grounds surrounding the hotel and when the weather permitted to stroll along the vast beach. The food was splendid both for breakfast and dinner with plenty of choice. We also developed quite a taste for Sardinian wines. The weather really was the only disappointing factor with only 2 days continuous sunshine throughout the entire week. Still you can't win them all! The arrangements you made for assistance to Rosemary at both ends because of her fractured wrist worked very well. All in all a very enjoyable holiday extremely well organised by you. Apart from the weather it was everything you said it would be and I cannot thank you enough." Desmond - October 2015
'I normally prefer smaller more family run hotels but this deal via Secret Escapes and Sardatur was too good to turn down. It turned out to be excellent in every way. It's a big hotel but with probably the most friendly staff I have encountered in Europe. Meals are served buffet style (which I would normally avoid) but the restaurant is very well managed and the dinner was very good indeed. I would certainly return!' Hugh - September 2015
"Just a quick word to let you know that everything went well and that we had a fantastic time in Sardinia. The hotel is stunning, the service was great, the personnel were delightful, a really good holiday. My only regret (and this is my own fault) is that I had not realised that there was a golf course right next to the hotel, otherwise I would have taken my own clubs instead of having to rent some!
However, I was really impressed by both the hotel and the service we got from Sardatur. Thanks once again.' Peter - August 2015
'Breakfast and evening meals were included and although these were both buffets there was plenty of variety so the food was anything but boring. Indeed, I'd say the food was of a very high standard also with plenty of healthy options. There is a lovely outdoor bar located next to the pool which serves up a wide range of lunchtime meals, soft drinks and cocktails throughout the day.' Jonathan - August 2015
'The Timi Ama is a great place to go if what you need is to hang out and relax for a few days. The service is fantastic and there is a really good buffet every night. More importantly, there is a lovely swimming pool and a fantastic beach. There are also loads of activities. We managed to play golf, go horse riding, go swimming, watch theatre, etc., but in fact there are lots of other activities that we never got round to doing.' Peter - August 2015
'Spent a great week and were extremely well looked after. The staff were very attentive and helpful whilst remaining very professional. Excellent buffet menus in the main restaurant and superb choices in the beach restaurant in a wonderful location. Plenty to do if you are feeling active but also super beach and pool if you just want to chill. All the staff should be congratulated on the way they interact with guests.' D. - July 2015
'We have visited Sardinia a number of times - both North and South. This is definitely the best hotel we have stayed in. All staff were polite and greeted us with a smile wherever we went. The beach was just beautiful, with sailing boats, and various other craft to hire. Food was nothing short of excellent and the buffet service did not detract from our restaurant experience at dinner.' Mike - June 2015
"Hotel definitely not 5*.Garden rooms only 3* at best. For a 5* resort Food only average.Buffet on most nights the food was never hot.If you wanted meat they was nothing to accompany it.On most nights we had fish (which we love) but mostly had with small salad that was supposed to be for starters. Not really a hotel that we would visit again.Shame when you consider location and potential. It is about time these old 5* resorts updated or had their rating reduced" - 29-Jul-2016
