The five star Hotel Patria Palace is situated in the heart of Lecce’s historic baroque centre, within walking distance of some of the city’s most historic monuments. Here many buildings reflect the use of the local stone, a soft marble, which, over the centuries, the city’s talented masons crafted into intricate columns, cherubs and friezes, to adorn the churches and administrative buildings.  Known for its immense beauty, Lecce was once named the ‘Athens of Apulia’ in acknowledgement of its exquisite architecture.

The Hotel Patria Palace sits in the elegant 18th century Palazzo D'Anna Petrarolo. Its rooms overlook the Piazzetta Riccardi, affording unique views of the Basilica of Santa Croce. Elegantly furnished, the hotel is embellished with frescoes and touches of the 1920’s Art Deco style. The design in each guest room and suite is individual, as is each stunning wall mural, commissioned by the artist John Duggan.

The hotel's highly praised Restaurant ‘Atenze’, serves beautifully presented Mediterranean cuisine, together with specialities of the Apulia region, in a soft and welcoming atmosphere.  ‘Danny's Bar’ is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a pre dinner cocktail or an after dinner drink.
