Hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa sits in a landscape of pretty Mediterranean gardens on a gently sloping hillside, offering beautiful views over the Gulf of Asinara.  Little pathways meander through the gardens, leading down to the beautiful, crescent shaped bay of Marinedda, with its white sandy beach and turquoise waters.  The village of Isola Rossa is just 1km away, and offers a small selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is popular for its well-equipped Thalasso & Spa, and is therefore an excellent choice for anyone looking for a little pampering.  Spacious and stylish, with a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere, Hotel Marinedda Thalasso is appealing to singles, couples and families alike.

Beach & Swimming Pool: The public beach of Marinedda is some 300-500 metres from the rooms, and offers sun-beds, parasols and sailing lessons (all at local cost).  For walkers and beachcombers, there are many other stunning bays along this beautiful coastline, just waiting to be explored.  The hotel offers two beautiful, outdoor swimming pools (excluding those at the Wellness Centre), both with bar service.  One is a seawater pool, close to the beach.  The other is freshwater and located in the main part of the hotel.  (Note: no children’s section in either pool).

A rich buffet breakfast is offered on the panoramic pool terrace. A buffet dinner is available in the main restaurant “Petra Ruja” (from 1930-2130hrs) which has lovely views over the bay.   Alternatively, from 2000 until 2200hrs, table service dining is offered at Restaurants “Punta Canneddi” (reservation required, no supplement) and “Tramonto” (reservation required with a supplement for the tasting menu)  

The opening of Restaurants “Punta Canneddi & “Tramonto” is at management discretion. Gluten free meals available (on request at time of booking). . On request at the hotel, guests on half board may replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.


Lunch is Brunch Mediterraneo® is a light buffet of hot pasta dishes & Chef’s cold dishes, based on cereals, legumes, pulses and vegetables, in addition to salads, fruit & local cheeses. Meat, fish and desserts are not served  Note: During low season the management may replace the buffet with table service. The Brunch Mediterraneo may be substituted for a packed lunch or with the “Brunch Around”, whereby brunch may be taken at the following 4-star properties: Hotel Relax Torreruja Thalasso & SPA (Isola Rossa), Resort & SPA Le Dune (Badesi) Park Hotel & SPA Cala Di Lepre (Palau) and Resort Cala Di Falco (Cannigione).  For a supplement on top of the Brunch cost, guests may also have Brunch at the 5-star Resort dell’Erica Thalasso & SPA (Santa Teresa Gallura.   Transfers between properties & drinks are not included and reservation must be made at the hotel.  

Thalasso & Spa Centre ‘ L’Elicriso’: The hotel is justly proud of its Spa & Wellness Centre, which covers 2,500sqm and is completely dedicated to Thalassotherapy, beauty and wellbeing.  The Centre offers: • semi covered heated seawater Thalasso pool with hydro massage • open-air Thalasso circuits in small seawater pools at varying temperatures •cardio fitness room, Turkish bath, sauna, relax area, reception and doctor’s surgery • beauty centre • boutique (entry & treatments all at local cost).

 * A medical certificate is required, providing evidence of fitness for treatments & the use of equipment.  Alternatively, an appointment can be arranged for a medical professional to visit whilst in resort (at local cost).  Children are not allowed.  Young persons aged 14 years or over are permitted if accompanied by an adult, or are in possession of written parental authorisation.

Mini - Junior Club: The Mini/Junior Club (from 3 to 11 years - operates 09June to 06Sep) will keep the little ones entertained whilst the adults relax in the Spa.  The Club is open 6 days a week from 0930-1300 and again from 1530 until 1830 and includes group tennis and five-a-side football lessons.  On certain days, the children can have their lunch with the entertainers (subject to a minimum of 4 children, reservation required and local supplement payable for children on half board).

Pushchair hire is available if requested when booking. (at local cost with a refundable deposit required on delivery).
